Myofascial Release - MFR
Myofascial Release has been used as an Osteopathic technique for years. John Barnes teaches a "new" approach to MFR. A time factor that is not seen in our current medical society has been introduced with manipulative therapy that is unlike any other, and is seeing results like no other.
MFR affects the fascia to the cellular level. Through slow, constant, and gentle pressure, traction, and other techniques, the fascial system responds with consistent positive results. MFR focuses on the whole person, and can "touch" the client's mind, emotions, and sometimes life experiences, in order for the client to move into a more "balanced" body. MFR allows the client's body to do what it knows best - unwind and find balance. MFR is widely becoming know as the most effective form of therapy.
MFR is done with the client wearing either a bathing suit, 2 piece for a women is preferred, or in your underwear - whichever is more comfortable for you. First time treatments include observation of your body's current structural alignment and posture in order to determine a starting point. As always, all treatments are tailored individually to each client's body's needs.
